Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, applying their knowledge of structural systems and materials to design solutions that meet client needs while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of structural steel and concrete components.
• Conduct structural analysis using appropriate engineering principles.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials and labor.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project expectations are met.
• Review and approve shop drawings and details.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or similar
• Professional license is preferred

Experience

• Over 5 years working in structural design and analysis

Certifications

• Membership in Engineering Council
