Job Description

As an Athletic Trainer at Leading Sports Clinic, you will work with a variety of athletes, providing first aid, emergency care, and preventative treatment for sports injuries. You will have the opportunity to educate athletes on proper conditioning techniques and recovery methods, and work together with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring all athletes perform at their best. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a commitment to physical fitness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans for sports injuries.
  • Guide athletes through recovery processes, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Facilitate workshops on nutrition and preventative health strategies.
  • Collaborate on research initiatives to promote sports safety and health.
  • Foster effective communication among athletes, coaches, and medical staff.
  • Ensure all practices are compliant with current health regulations and standards.
  • Support athletes in early recognition and response to sports injuries.
  • Promote a positive sports experience through injury-free performance enhancement.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment and athlete community.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine preferred
  • Additional certifications in sports health and nutrition can be advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in athletic training or a related field
