Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to become part of our team in Durban. An ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies. You’ll be pivotal in enhancing our development processes, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud service management for high availability and reliability.
• Optimize deployment processes and configurations for better performance.
• Work closely with security teams to safeguard cloud data.
• Advise on best practices for team collaboration and tool selection.
• Foster a DevOps culture within the organization through engagement.
• Document all processes and implement version control practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Git

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (like Prometheus or Grafana): Experience in implementing monitoring solutions to track system performance.
