Job Description

As a Pharmacist at HealthFirst Pharmacy in Pretoria, you will play a crucial role in medication management, patient care, and health promotion. You will collaborate closely with healthcare providers and patients to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and laws.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for medication authorizations.
• Analyze medication interactions and contraindications for patients.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Provide support for patients using chronic disease management programs.
• Utilize technology in pharmacy practice to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist (SAPC)

Languages
