We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Bellville. You will play a vital role in assessing environmental impacts, developing sustainable solutions, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Ideal candidates have a strong background in environmental science and engineering principles, along with a passion for promoting environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance projects and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies for environmental projects.
• Foster partnerships with local communities for environmental initiatives.
• Provide guidance on sustainable practices for construction and development projects.
• Evaluate existing practices and recommend improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals for environmental projects.
• Conduct workshops and training on sustainability topics.
• Develop and maintain an environmental management system.
• Coordinate with various governmental and non-governmental organizations.
• Compile and analyze environmental research data for reporting purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or engineering roles
