Job Description

As a General Practitioner, you will play an essential role in our medical team in Pretoria. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients’ health conditions, providing appropriate treatment, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe necessary medications and track patient progress.
  • Engage in patient education regarding chronic disease management.
  • Coordinate patient care with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Engage in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
  • Document all patient interaction accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Mentor junior staff and medical students as needed.
  • Stay informed about new medical trends and regulatory guidelines.
  • Lead health workshops to educate the community on various health topics.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Certification in Advanced Life Support is preferred

  • 3+ years of primary care experience
