Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our vibrant Bloemfontein office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructures that scale efficiently while supporting a multi-cloud strategy. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure cloud solutions are aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud migration strategies.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Assess the cloud architecture and make recommendations for improvements.
• Educate and mentor team members on cloud technologies.
• Maintain documentation of cloud services and infrastructures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions or similar roles

• Google Cloud Platform
• Cloud Security

• Leadership
• Project management

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with microservices architecture: Experience working with microservices-based applications.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture: Understanding serverless computing models and use cases.
