Job Description

Looking for a dynamic Tax Consultant to join our tax advisory team in Pretoria. The role involves in-depth analysis of clients' financial situations to provide tailored tax solutions. You will conduct research, stay updated on tax law changes, and educate clients on effective tax practices to enhance their financial health.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored tax solutions.
• Perform comprehensive reviews of tax returns before filing.
• Keep track of filing deadlines and ensure timely compliance.
• Conduct tax health checks for clients to identify risks.
• Facilitate workshops and educational sessions on taxation.
• Apply knowledge of local and international tax regulations.
• Advise on VAT, income tax, and other tax matters.
• Develop client reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Provide strategic input on mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring as needed.
• Support the company in achieving its strategic goals through taxation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Additional qualifications (e.g., MCom or advanced tax certifications) advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax consulting
