Job Description

As a Wastewater Technician, you will be pivotal in ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment facilities. In this role, you will monitor processes, conduct testing, and work collaboratively with your team to uphold our environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety protocols and ensure PPE usage during operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize treatment processes.
• Document operational activities and findings accurately.
• Support in the development of new treatment methodologies.
• Engage in community outreach to promote environmental awareness.
• Monitor chemical usage and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Participate in audits and inspections as required.
• Facilitate communication with suppliers for equipment and maintenance needs.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Certification in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in wastewater treatment operations
