Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our dedicated team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, testing, and improving aerospace systems and components. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills, aimed at delivering outstanding performance in our aerospace projects.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement new materials and technologies in aerospace applications.
• Support the development of flight test plans and post-flight analysis.
• Assist in creating maintenance plans and ensuring reliability in equipment.
• Engage in troubleshooting activities to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
• Participate in design reviews to provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure all engineering designs are scalable and cost-effective.
• Maintain accurate records of project documents and specifications.
• Collect and analyze performance data to improve product offerings.
• Support marketing teams with technical inputs for customer proposals.
• Participate in conferences and workshops to share findings within the industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace design and testing

Technical Skills

• Matlab/Simulink

Languages

• English: Fluent
