We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Environmental Engineer dedicated to promoting sustainability initiatives in Cape Town. The successful candidate will leverage their technical skills to design, implement, and evaluate projects aimed at reducing environmental impact and enhancing community well-being.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies for ecological restoration.
• Advise on the reduction of environmental footprints for various projects.
• Conduct site investigations and environmental monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Revise and develop environmental management systems.
• Present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Oversee implementation of waste reduction initiatives.
• Train staff on environmental regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to grant proposals for funding sustainable initiatives.
• Participate in environmental outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in environmental engineering
