Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Durban facility, you will be entrusted with ensuring patient safety and comfort during their healthcare journey. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced medical professionals while participating in ongoing training opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate patient health status.
  • Coordinate with medical staff regarding patient treatments and care approaches.
  • Support patients with chronic illnesses and rehabilitation needs.
  • Promote health and wellness initiatives within the facility.
  • Build rapport with patients and provide emotional support.
  • Monitor inventory and report necessary supplies.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
  • Utilize electronic health records to track patient information accurately.
  • Follow up with patients post-discharge to ensure continued care.
  • Help train and mentor junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse qualification from an accredited institution
  • Advanced Diploma in Nursing is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
