Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our facility in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing patient care plans, administering medications, and supporting patient health through comprehensive assessments. A passion for nursing and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and report changes to the medical team.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Certify compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and dignity is maintained at all times.
• Work on shifts, including night and weekend duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
• Bachelor of Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a hospital environment

• Medication Administration
• Wound Care

• Critical Thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems: Proficient in using EMR software for patient data management.
• Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans is an asset.
