Job Description

As a Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in our production team, ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of forging presses to shape metal into high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include monitoring machine settings, performing regular maintenance, and upholding safety standards in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately.
• Set up forging presses according to job specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Achieve production targets while ensuring product quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in metalworking or manufacturing is a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience operating forging presses or similar equipment

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of metalworking processes

Soft Skills

• Good hand-eye coordination
• Communication skills

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
