The General Teller will be responsible for conducting a range of banking transactions and ensuring excellent customer service. You will handle cash and financial instruments securely while assisting customers with their banking needs.
Responsibilities
Handle cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist clients with account inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security policies.
Process loan applications within authorized limits.
Maintain up-to-date customer records and documentation.
Assist in training of new tellers as necessary.
Engage with customers to enhance their banking experience.
Participate in team meetings to discuss customer service improvements.
Provide feedback for better operational efficiency.
Requirements
Education
Matric certificate or equivalent
Relevant qualification in banking or finance is preferred

1 to 2 years of experience in banking or customer service roles
