Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Quality Control Inspector based in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will perform various inspections and tests on our products to ensure they meet defined specifications. You'll play a vital role in our commitment to quality, assisting in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive excellence throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and products at various production stages.
• Document findings and ensure corrections are made where needed.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
• Support the implementation of ISO quality standards.
• Evaluate and author quality control reports.
• Facilitate quality meetings and discussions with relevant teams.
• Monitor compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Assist in identifying potential areas for quality improvement.
• Participate in product development processes to ensure quality.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Quality Assurance or related field
• Bachelor's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Quality Management System (QMS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
