Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cloud Engineer in Cape Town to spearhead our cloud initiatives. You will collaborate closely with various teams to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native applications and services.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to protect sensitive data in the cloud.
• Enhance cloud infrastructure through continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Perform capacity planning and cost optimization for cloud resources.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
