Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of various subjects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students in an online environment. Your role will involve helping students grasp complex concepts and providing guidance tailored to their learning needs. Responsibilities

• Prepare engaging lesson materials and resources for online sessions.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Use assessment tools to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Encourage student participation and questions during lessons.
• Provide insights to parents on their child's progress and areas to focus on.
• Ensure a positive online learning environment by addressing student concerns.
• Contribute to curriculum development by providing feedback on tutoring materials and methods.
• Regularly review and reflect on personal teaching methods to improve effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a similar field
• Master's degree in Education is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a tutoring or teaching role

Technical Skills

• Expertise in specific subjects (Math, Science, etc.)
• Experience with e-learning tools

Soft Skills

• Patience and empathy
• Motivational skills

Certifications

• TEFL or TESOL certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Experience in curriculum development: Ability to design and develop teaching materials and resources for online tutoring.
• Proficient in additional languages: Ability to tutor in multiple languages is highly regarded.
