Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and perform surgical procedures when necessary.
• Oversee dental hygienists and assist in their duties.
• Provide follow-up care and assess treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient treatment plans and progress effectively.
• Engage in community outreach and education on dental health.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.)

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Sedation Dentistry
• Cosmetic Dentistry

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Public speaking experience on dental health: Demonstrated ability to educate the public on dental health topics.
