Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Security Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be tasked with monitoring and improving our security protocols to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. You should be familiar with tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption strategies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions.
• Work with external partners to strengthen security measures.
• Document security incidents and develop incident response plans.
• Conduct penetration testing and simulations.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and threats.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
