Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Stellenbosch. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of management accounting and financial analysis to drive financial performance and support business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in monthly closures and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate month-end close activities and reporting requirements.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and financial efficiencies.
• Maintain accounting systems and oversee their functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial transitions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• CPA certification is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment

Certifications

• CPA or equivalent certification, if applicable

Languages
