Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and analyzing various structures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design efforts for various projects, ensuring timely delivery of quality results.
• Utilize advanced engineering software to model and simulate structural performance.
• Evaluate project feasibility through site investigations and data analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and provide solutions to technical challenges.
• Review and approve project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to project proposals and presentations to clients.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in the design of structures

• Structural Analysis

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
