Security Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to help defend our network and systems from cyber-attacks. In this role, you will execute risk assessments, conduct vulnerability scans, and implement robust security protocols. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining a secure environment and protecting sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security incidents and collaborate with law enforcement if necessary.
• Oversee installation and configuration of security hardware and software.
• Work closely with the compliance team on audits and regulatory matters.
• Create comprehensive documentation of security procedures and protocols.
• Engage in continuous education and certification programs.
• Partake in cross-departmental security initiatives.
• Manage internal and external security assessments.
• Assist in developing and nurturing a security-focused culture within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certifications in cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) are beneficial

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
