Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented Electrical Engineer to strengthen our team in Cape Town. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, from the initial design phase through to implementation. Working closely with a diverse group of professionals, you will play a key role in delivering projects successfully while adhering to strict timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify electrical circuit designs using CAD software.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Evaluate and approve design changes and modifications.
• Implement energy-efficient solutions in designs.
• Assist with training junior engineers and interns.
• Report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering roles

• Electrical Safety Standards

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
