Job Description

We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising chemical processes, ensuring efficiency and safety in the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in process engineering and a passion for innovation in chemical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes.
• Engage with suppliers to source quality raw materials.
• Use statistical methods to analyse process data.
• Facilitate process improvement workshops with stakeholders.
• Review and update standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams on project statuses.
• Ensure that all work adheres to company quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related disciplines
• PhD in Chemical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the chemical industry

• Chemical Process Simulation

Certifications

• Certified Chemical Engineer (CCE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
