Job Description

We are on the hunt for a detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be involved in evaluating investment opportunities, preparing financial analyses, and conducting market research. You will work closely with senior bankers and gain valuable insights into the investment banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive financial models for valuation purposes.
• Support senior bankers in transaction execution.
• Draft reports summarizing research findings and investment recommendations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders during the transaction process.
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments.
• Contribute to team meetings and strategy sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a financial advisory role

• Investment Research

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 or higher is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent
