Job Description

We are on the hunt for a detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be involved in evaluating investment opportunities, preparing financial analyses, and conducting market research. You will work closely with senior bankers and gain valuable insights into the investment banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess investment opportunities.
• Assist in preparing pitch books and presentations for clients.
• Research market trends and provide insights to senior analysts.
• Support the development of financial projections and valuation models.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to facilitate transactions.
• Participate in due diligence processes and prepare reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a financial advisory role

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 or higher is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent
