Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities and enforce compliance with design specifications.
• Evaluate project costs and resource needs for structural elements.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
• Develop innovative methods to enhance structural integrity.
• Research and apply new materials and techniques in engineering.
• Foster relationships with clients to ensure project satisfaction.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and construction processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Reinforced Concrete Design
• Steel Design

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
