Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Engineer to join Green Solutions Ltd., where you will lead initiatives aimed at improving environmental quality and sustainability. Your role will involve conducting research, preparing reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to pursue innovative environmental solutions that meet the needs of our clients and communities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing environmental programs and propose enhancements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive project solutions.
• Ensure that all project work adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on environmental sustainability practices.
• Participate in public consultations to discuss environmental initiatives.
• Contribute to funding applications for environmental projects.
• Monitor and report on the status of projects and their environmental impacts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental management

• GIS and Mapping Software

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in environmental modelling software: Experience with software used for environmental impact modelling.
