Job Description

We seek a dynamic Chemical Engineer to join our team in Tshwane. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of chemical processes and a passion for innovation. You’ll be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical processes within our production line, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate production schedules and optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach team members on technical skills.
  • Collaborate with R&D for new product development.
  • Monitor and control production processes and adjust as necessary.
  • Report on project progress and results to management.
  • Ensure that environmental standards are maintained.
  • Document all procedures and update process manuals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering
