Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Tax Consultant to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of tax legislation and will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements while optimizing their tax liabilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients’ tax positions.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to monitor changes in their financial status.
• Prepare detailed reports on tax matters and present findings to clients.
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to enhance client services.
• Evaluate existing tax processes and recommend improvements.
• Manage multiple client accounts and ensure timely compliance.
• Assist in the training of new hires within the taxation department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or accounting

• Financial Analysis

• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• SAIT Certified Tax Practitioner
• CA(SA) - Chartered Accountant

Languages

• English: Fluent
