Job Description

As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in assessing environmental impacts and developing strategies for sustainability. Your expertise will guide clients in implementing effective environmental policies, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze environmental policies and trends.
• Assist clients in obtaining environmental permits and licenses.
• Monitor project compliance with environmental regulations.
• Develop community engagement strategies for client projects.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and public consultations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or compliance roles

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Scientist (CES)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with community engagement: Skills in facilitating community workshops and discussions.
