Staff Nurse

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse for our Durban facility. In this role, you will be involved in patient assessments, care planning, and providing supportive care to patients and their families. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals in a variety of healthcare settings.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Participate in staff training and mentorship programmes.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Promote a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of nursing experience preferred
