Job Description

As an Accountant at our Cape Town office, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within our innovative firm.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the financial planning and analysis processes.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reconciliations.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance.
• Track financial expenses and help manage budgets.
• Analyze financial trends to guide investment activities.
• Provide training and support to junior accounting staff.
• Enhance existing financial practices and controls.
• Keep abreast of new accounting software and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Advanced accounting qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
