Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations in Pretoria. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, be adept at team management, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the warehouse team, ensuring optimal productivity.
• Establish and maintain inventory control protocols.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all warehouse transactions.
• Work closely with procurement to manage stock levels.
• Provide feedback and reports to upper management regarding warehouse performance.
• Foster a positive working environment that motivates staff.
• Evaluate and manage supplier relationships for warehouse needs.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Higher certificate in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations

• Warehouse Management Systems

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• Health & Safety Officer Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Six Sigma Certification: Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of ERP software: Experience with ERP systems for integrated warehouse management.
