Software Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Durban. This role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying software defects, and ensuring the quality of our products aligns with both internal and external standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation.
• Ensure products meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with end-users.
• Assist in training team members on testing tools and methodologies.
• Support the development team in Agile practices.
• Share proactive ideas for improving software quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Relevant testing certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing

• Selenium

• SQL

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
• Foundational Level Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
