IT Support Technician

In the role of IT Support Technician, you will provide essential support to our teams in Port Elizabeth. Your expertise will assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and you will be instrumental in ensuring high availability of our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
• Provide remote assistance to users as needed.
• Keep detailed records of user interactions and support requests.
• Build effective relationships with users to understand their IT needs.
• Manage transport of IT equipment within the office as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications in ITIL or similar frameworks are ideal

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support roles or similar environments

Technical Skills

• Help Desk Software (e.g. Zendesk)

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
