Job Description

The Environmental Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting and interpreting analyses of environmental samples. This includes maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and preparing detailed reports for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical, physical, and biological analyses on environmental samples.
  • Document and report results accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies.
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists on research initiatives.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.
  • Participate in training sessions for compliance and safety.
  • Support the development of new testing methods.
  • Manage waste disposal in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working with regulatory agencies
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols

Languages
  • English: Fluent
