The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing risks, determining appropriate coverage terms, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth risk assessments for various insurance products.
• Work directly with clients to explain underwriting decisions and processes.
• Implement effective strategies for risk mitigation and loss prevention.
• Analyze market data to inform underwriting decisions and pricing strategies.
• Prepare detailed underwriting reports for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Professional designation in underwriting is preferable

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in the insurance industry

Certifications

• Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA)
• Insurance Risk Management certification
