Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for implementing behavioral intervention plans and working closely with students to promote positive behavior and learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct observations and analyze student behavior for effective intervention planning.
  • Work with teachers to integrate behavioral strategies into classroom management.
  • Foster a supportive environment conducive to behavioral growth.
  • Develop and present training materials on behavior management techniques.
  • Report on behavioral data to inform ongoing intervention adjustments.
  • Engage in professional development to stay informed on best practices.
  • Participate in community outreach to raise awareness about behavioral interventions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is highly regarded
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a behavioral intervention role
