Job Description

We are seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for aerospace components. Strong design and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and enhance manufacturing solutions for aerospace applications.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to streamline product development.
  • Analyze production metrics to identify areas for increased productivity.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of quality issues and develop resolutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Assist in budget and resource planning for manufacturing operations.
  • Design training materials and workshops for engineers and technicians.
  • Assist in the execution of testing protocols for aerospace components.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for manufacturing initiatives.
  • Prepare reports for management on production performance and improvement suggestions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in manufacturing processes are desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry
