Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager who can lead our construction projects in Cape Town. This role requires solid experience in managing construction schedules, budgets, and quality of work. Emphasis on collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery will be key.

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed project timelines, allocating resources effectively.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Create and implement effective safety protocols for site operations.
• Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities.
• Ensure financial performance by monitoring project expenses against budgets.
• Track daily site progress and adjust project plans as necessary.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Professional certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or project management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
