We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves diagnosing and resolving IT issues, assisting users with technical queries, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely solutions.
Maintain and troubleshoot PCs, printers, and other peripherals.
Perform system backups and recovery tasks.
Assist with software updates and installations.
Monitor network performance and diagnose issues.
Ensure data security and compliance standards are met.
Communicate with vendors for hardware repairs and IT services.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
Conduct IT inventory audits regularly.
Requirements
Education
Diploma in IT or related field
Bachelor's degree is advantageous
