Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our Bloemfontein team. In this role, you will oversee the supply chain process, ensuring that goods are received and dispatched accurately and promptly. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement efficient logistics strategies to reduce costs and improve processes.
• Communicate with freight carriers and manage transport schedules.
• Monitor the performance of logistics operations and implement improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services.
• Support the logistics manager in implementing best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics
• Certification in APICS or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of logistics experience in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management Systems
• Warehouse Management Systems

Soft Skills

• SCM Certification
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
