Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications, assessing risk, and determining coverage and pricing. This position requires a thorough understanding of the underwriting process and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Examine insurance requests for underwriting approval.
  • Collect and review relevant documentation to assess risk.
  • Provide recommendations for modifications to underwriting policies.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and updates of existing policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar
  • Relevant insurance underwriting certifications are preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of underwriting experience in the insurance sector
