Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and wellness checks for pets.
• Manage cases requiring surgical intervention and post-operative care.
• Monitor animal patients during treatments and recoveries.
• Assist in the development of clinic policies and protocols.
• Engage with clients to discuss their pets' health needs.
• Record and manage patient histories and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in professional development programs and workshops.
• Collaborate with local animal shelters for community health initiatives.
• Mentor and support veterinary interns and new staff members.
• Promote high standards of animal welfare and care.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Specialization/Certification in a veterinary specialty preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in veterinary practice
