Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cable Splicer Helper to assist our team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical cables. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in a construction environment. Experience is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cable Splicer during installation and maintenance tasks.
• Handle digging and setting up work sites as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting any electrical issues that arise.
• Ensure that tools and equipment are regularly maintained and ready for use.
• Document completed tasks and assist with record-keeping.
• Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration and communication.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Entry-level position; no prior experience required.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of cable systems
• Proficient in manual labor tasks

Soft Skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages
