Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Cybersecurity Specialist based in Durban. This role requires a strong grasp of cybersecurity strategies and tools to protect our infrastructure and data. You will implement security solutions to combat cyber threats, and maintain compliance with industry regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are a must!

Responsibilities

• Implement security measures for applications, networks, and databases.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Assist in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Work with software development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
• Perform forensic investigations as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree is a plus but not required

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
