Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining major industrial equipment used in the production of lime. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain driers and ovens used in lime production.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory frameworks regarding safety and environmental impact.
• Work in conjunction with the production team to streamline processes.
• Report any variances in quality or process efficiency immediately to supervisory staff.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in related fields is a plus.

Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in lime operations.

Technical Skills

• SCADA systems knowledge
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Health and safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SCADA and control systems: Hands-on experience with process control systems.
• Knowledge of lime production processes: Familiarity with operational nuances in lime processing.
