Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement industrial practices, and drive projects that enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers for material optimization.
• Regularly review and analyze production data reports.
• Assist with the development of safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and tools in production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and inefficiencies.
• Participate in strategic planning for future manufacturing processes.
• Act as a liaison between management and production teams.
• Compile and present findings and proposals to management.
• Assist in project management tasks for engineering initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in process engineering or industrial improvement initiatives

Languages

• English: Fluent
