We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud architectures that meet our clients' needs. With your deep understanding of cloud technologies and your ability to collaborate effectively, you will play a key role in driving our cloud initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of cloud-based solutions.
• Work closely with clients to determine their cloud strategy.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage and costs.
• Facilitate training sessions for teams on cloud tools and platforms.
• Enhance cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions.
• Participate in architectural reviews and project planning meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and architecture
